Human Beings - God's Creation (Part 1)

God created each and everyone of us special and unique in our own way. We can't be like others nor can we expect others to be like us. Though sadly we at many times do attempt to change others to suit us and our wimps and fancies.

After having to work for about 2 years now in the corporate world, did I come to learn and experience on many occasions; the fallen nature of man. When I was young, I was very naive and to me all humans are 'saint' and are of good virtue. However, after witnessing and going through much painful experiences in the past years; I am now more aware, alert and know that one that are of good character and personalities does exist. However, we do have amongst us those who are of the total opposite. These people are the champions in bringing and cultivating negative forces or more commonly known as bad vibes as they teaches you to back-stab, cheat, lie, manipulate and may other evil.

Not to say that I am perfect, but I pray that I will never ever be influence bad all these as I want to live the life to which God has set out for me. I want to bear a good testimony for the Lord my God who have been with me through it all. I know that I have many times fail Him as I still do have my weak side. However, I know that He still accepts me for who I am.

Going back to the topic of those conniving people.

Previously, I am in close acquaintance with people as such as I have to see nor experience their true colors. It is darn shy for me to even say this but last time, I used to believe in all that they say and do and provide them my fullest support. However, when I knew that one of the two acquaintance I had, went around tarnishing my name by speaking evil and spreading lies about my sexuality; I was fuming and raging mad.
I don't know what has gotten into her thin skull of hers to spread such a tale however, I was even more disappointed for having to believe in a person such as her.

After a year studying abroad, I just felt the need to send her an email and clarify things as I needed to protect me and my dignity as a child of God. And so I did. And she didn't even bother to reply.

Needless to say, upon my return. I worked in the same company as her and I thought let the bygones be and let's start afresh. However, hardly 7 months since I step foot in that company, once again I fallen into her trap again. And this was worst, she actually asked me to lie to a person whom I was very close to and respect much. Thank God after it all, this person whom I was closed to is still very concern and we do share much with one another. However, as for this conniving !@#$$; I have since shut off all communication with her. Nothing to do with work, ignore and don't bother.

Life without regrets (2012)

What I am going to write is based on my own observation and I am writing all these in general and not focusing on a particular person. So happy reading...

Yesterday, a boy from AGAPE wrote something about being appreciative of the things or the people that we have around us. I have to say that those words written are wise and are of good value.

Each year as time goes by, things around us changes and at times it just advance so fast that we don't even remember when in exact a particular event took place. Technology now is so advance compared 10 years back, children nowadays are so much different compared to children born in our parents time.

In general, with this new generation; their mindset and their value of certain things varies as before. Before, people focuses more on having basic manners, good character and quality, however, right now many are swayed to having focus more on having the latest gadgets, knowing about the latest updates/gossips rather than the latter. Don't get me wrong here. I do know of people who shower themselves with the latest stuffs and yet they do posses one of the world's best est etiquette. (It's true)

Going back to what I want to say.

Through my obeservation, many nowadays tend to take the things that we have and especially the people around us for granted. Many a times we end up using people and loving things, whereas it should be the other way around.

We need to cultivate this spirit of thankfulness and appreciation in each of our hearts for God only give us one life. One life to learn, to love, to appreciate, to live life to the fullest for Christ and so, we too must appreciate our life, our body and especially our Creator God who so wonderfully and fearfully made each of us unique and special.

Whether a particular person come into your life just for a few weeks, a few months, for years or until the day they breath their last, we must learn how to appreciate each one of them. Sometimes we just assume that it is a parent's role to provide us the best, and we just take them for granted. Just like we need others to appreciate us; we too must always appreciate them for what they have done for us.

I have seen many events that happened in my life and when I look back, I do regret for I didn't appreciate the people and the things that I was blessed with and I did took them for granted. Thank God some found the grace to forgive me for what I have done, however, some did not. I don't hold any thing against them because I know that I am at fault. The Bible teaches me not to look at the twig in my friends eye but to look at the log in my own. And this is what I am doing.

I am not perfect and I do fail at times, however, as I grew older, I learn and I am still in the learning process. Before, I just take my friends for granted and keep blaming others for not being friends with me, however, as I am about to graduate and enter into my 22nd year, being alive and well on this planet earth; I have seek God's help to change me. To appreciate life, things that I am blessed with and ultimately, the people whom I love and the people who love me.

I am not a person who is good with words, therefore, I have choose to began this new year with a change. I will on and off write a message on my blog, and also to keep two journals. One for my family, and the other for my extended family in Christ. I express all that I feel into that book and present it to them when the opportunity arises.

Do unto others how you would like them do to you. If you long for others to appreciate you for what you have done, do it to them too. Don't take it for granted and think that it is a must that so and so should do this to and for me. They too needs to be appreciated.

As I have written before, appreciation comes in many form, use the creativity and the ideas that God has blessed us with to appreciate and thank the people around us who have made our lives colorful and beautiful. Don't do out of wanting to get something back in return, however, do it with the fullness of your heart and I believe you will in return achieve an unexpressable sense of joy and achievement.

Make it a point at any time of the day, month to appreciate your loved ones. It need not be their birthday or any special events, but at any day when you think of them or a particular person, just drop them an sms, or a call, email, facebook message. The value of a present given is not judge based on its value but the heart of one who gives it.

So, to all those whom I have taken for granted in the past. Many apologies. That I believe was the old Khor Zyeh Myin (Jac/Jackie/Jacqueline) whom you used to know. As I seek God's help to change me, I pray that you all will be able to notice and also to find it in your heart to forgive me.

For those whom I have taken for granted and yet have forgiven me time and again. I thank God for each of you. It is not easy I know however, I believe it is the grace and love that God has planted in your hearts to embrace and accepet me for who I am and what I am. I love you all and God bless!

Signing off,
Myin

My Testimony

It is really funny that when we are in the comforts of our own home, we want to get out or go somewhere far to pursue our studies, or going against our parent’s orders, or even sometimes are ungrateful for the things that they do for us. Things starts to change when we are out of the house whether are we in KL, UK, or any parts of the world only we realize that home is where the heart is.
These are some things that I have learnt through the course of 2 years plus being out of the house. Before I was in KL, my life has its ups and downs (for those of you who know me, you know what I am saying). And before I left for KL, my relationship with my family and especially God improved! I was so close to Him to the extent that He reveals to me quite a lot of things through dreams and burdens. And amazingly all that did came to pass.
Then when I was in KL, things started to change. I still keep close contact to my family (literally call everyday and talk more than one hour). But the only one person I didn’t keep in contact was God. I was out of touch with him after 1 semester in KL. That was my downfall and by the time I finish my studies, graduated and worked, I was totally lost. Though I didn’t go to those night clubs and pubs and whatsoever, little did I realize that I was so hook on to hanging out in cafes (Old Town CafĂ©, Wong Kok, Station 1 kopitiam etc.)
At that time, I was so emotional, over-sensitive, and impulsive. I did things without thinking about the outcome. Basically, I did and say things based on my own emotions and ended up hurting many people whom I care about and love. Thank God He is faithful. After working for 6 months plus and returning home, my relationship with God started to heal. He is really faithful and just and He stood by me all the way despite me being stubborn, arrogant and wayward.
After 3 months plus in UK, I thank God that I can cling on to Him, and that He help me through every challenges, trials and temptations faced. It is not easy being far away from home, especially in a foreign country, without family. I really pray that I will no longer be my old self back in KL, but will be a changed and re-new person after I finish my studies and return back to Malaysia in July…(this is my deepest wish and plan, but in the end, God’s plan is still the best).
Being far away from home is not easy. I am not ashamed to say that I miss home like mad and do cry too for some time. But as I am getting busier with studies, things began to change but two things in my life which is superbly dear to me will never change. They are GOD and my family (including my extended family in Christ, and my friends back home).
As Christmas is a few days away, I wish everyone back home Merry Christmas and also a blessed New Year. I will be stuck in campus with my college mates who came down during Christmas for apparently; there is no public transport on Christmas day. So, this year, my Christmas celebration will be different, because I don’t get to spend them with the people I love the most.
But God is great, in another few months time, when I have submitted my assignments, tour Europe, attend my convocation, I WILL BE BACK WITH THEM!!  I AM SO LOOKING FORWARD TO SEE ALL THOSE WHOM I LOVE BACK HOME!  TAKE CARE, GOD BLESS, LOVE YOU ALL AND BLESSED CHRISTMAS AND A BLESSED NEW YEAR TOO!!!

Living life without regrets....

In another month and another few more days I will be leaving for UK to finish my degree..

I will be leaving the people that I love people behind, I will be leaving the place that I am familiar with...etc...

Although I will only be there in London for only a year but then...still this feelings are sure to arise...am I right? But then I won't want this feeling to linger long for I am there to study and to achieve the best out of what I am supposed to do there. I don't want to regret later for not getting good results due to all the unwanted and unnecessary things that are going on in my head and even the environment surrounding me.

I have an aim and I want to be the extraordinary...I won't want to settle on the ordinary anymore for I have a wonderful, and EXTRAORDINARY GOD!! He can and will see me through whatever that I am facing and what I intend on doing!! I pray that I will be able to achieve the best in life and make those people around me proud...:)

There are many times in life that I did things without thinking and then in the end regret my actions and try to rectify it..through out my 20 years of life I have came to hurt many people whom I love and cherish...and each time I really wish that I can turn back time or even stop time to just undo what I have done...but sadly that is not the case...

So to all the people whom I hurt...I seriously hope that you can forgive me for what I have done and find it in your heart to forgive me...I will really cherish the opportunity given to me to be a better person to you...:)
